The NLP-team at the Department of Technologies, Pompeu Fabra University forms part of the Artificial Intelligence Group headed by Hector Geffner. Created in 2005 by its current director, Leo Wanner, it is a young team focusing on selected aspects of Natural Language Processing such as Multilingual Natural Language Generation, Summarization, Language-oriented Machine Learning, and Computational Lexicology. Special focus is put on application-oriented NLP and synergies with other fields of Computer Science and AI. |
